Margaret Purce, NJ/NY Gotham FC boosted its playoff case with a 3-1 victory over the visiting North Carolina Courage on Saturday in the opening game of the weekend. Lloyd, who scored six goals in the USA’s two games against Paraguay, carried her momentum into club play, converting a penalty in the 28th minute after Purce was brought down in the area.
