In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, when Bruce was asked about the upcoming season five, he revealed that there were a number of Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd), Nick Blaine (Max Minghella) and Janine Lindo (Madeline Brewer) flashback scenes which were scrapped.
He even admitted how Covid-19 played a part in fans not seeing more of Emily Malek’s (Alexis Bledel) personal life.
Speaking on Moira’s storyline, he shared: “We showed a truncated version of Moiira trying to move beyond her trauma and build something with Oona (Zawe Ashton).
“There were five more scenes we would have done, had practicality allowed it, but it’s a testament to Samira, especially, that she was able to build a whole relationship with only a few scenes,” he explained.
